The Rising of The Shield Hero Stage Play’s Opening Performance Clip Introduces Its Main Cast Members

 

 

After the postponement due to the effects of COVID-19, the stage play adaptation of Aneko Yusagi's fantasy light novel series The Rising of the Shield Hero finally opened in Tokyo on July 15. An opening performance clip to introduce its main cast members, including Yuuya Uno (Naofumi Iwatani), Karin Isobe (Raphtalia), Yuuna Sekine (Filo), Yuuya Asato (Motoyasu Kitamura), Riki Tanimizu (Ren Amaki), and Taiga Fukazawa (Itsuki Kawasumi), is now streamed. 

 

The stage play directed by Ken Ougida (Kakuriyo: Bed and Breakfast for Spirits stage plays) was originally planned to be performed in Osaka and Tokyo from March to April 2020. However, all of the shows were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. And now it is newly set to be performed at Theater Sun Mall in Tokyo from July 15 to 25, 2021. Advance tickets have been already sold out, and only a few same-day tickets are available.
